Wingmasters: Wednesday, July 29th 10:30-11:30 am
Birds are not just related to dinosaurs; they are dinosaurs! Modern birds evolved from small, carnivorous dinosaurs in the Late Jurassic period. Wingmasters rehabilitate raptors that include eagles, hawks, falcons, and owls. This presentation will incorporate five live birds. Children aged 6-12 will learn about conservation efforts for these wild animals. Registration is required. Call 617-569-0271.

Career Counseling Drop-in Hours: Mondays, 10 am to 1 pm
During drop-in hours, the BPL career counselor can answer job questions, connect you to services and make a follow-up plan
ESOL Conversation Group: Thursdays from 7-8 pm
Practice speaking English with other adult learners in an informal and friendly group setting. The group is led every Thursday by a volunteer teacher and will take place in-person. This is a drop-in program. No registration is required.
Creative Crafters Drop-in: Thursday, July 23rd from 6-8 pm
If you are an adult or teen who enjoys knitting, crochet, cross stitch, and other textile crafts please join us for this drop-in program. Whether you knit, quilt, or crochet, join our monthly meetups to relax, share ideas, and connect with fellow crafters. Please bring a project to work on.
East Boston: In Our Own Words – A Community Conversation & Zine Launch: Saturday, July 25th from 1-3pm
East Boston In Our Own Words is a zine about life in East Boston today told through the words of neighborhood residents. Join your neighbors and Hola Cultura to celebrate the release of this zine. Take home your own copy of the zine in English or Spanish (or both!). This gathering encourages discussion, listening and personal connection.
