Boston City Councilor Gabriela Coletta Zapata will host the Italian Flag Raising and Italian-American Heritage Month celebration on Thursday, October 2, at 12:00 PM on the flagpole stage at Boston City Hall Plaza. The program will feature a performance by students from The Eliot K-8 Innovation School, followed by light refreshments.
“As a proud fourth-generation Italian American, I am honored to host the Italian Flag Raising and Italian-American Heritage Month celebration at City Hall Plaza. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate our history, traditions, and rich culture. All are welcome to join,” said Coletta Zapata.
Harbor View Neighborhood Association meeting agenda
The next meeting of the Harbor View Neighborhood Association will be on October 6, 2025, at 6pm. The meeting is In Person only but will be streamed via Facebook for archival purposes. Attendance on Facebook does not qualify for voting. The meeting will be held in the Salesian Boys and Girls Club cafeteria, across from the Brooke Charter School on Byron Street. You can access the meeting from the front door on Byron Street which is also handicap accessible and an elevator is available for your convenience if needed. which is the handicap entry, to avoid the stairs.

97 Horace Street (15min) Owner, Christina Fisher, will make a 2nd presentation and VOTE on her plans to add a dormer to the rear interior of the third floor. The dormer will match the height and slope of the existing dormers. The dormer is for a bathroom addition and a small closet. Christina and Chad own and have lived at this address for several years now.
