Albert W. Pantano of Everett, formerly of Revere and Somerville, died on March 20. He was 81 years old.
A US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of VFW Post 6712 and the Revere Loyal Order of the Moose. He tended bar at Jevelli’s Restaurant (Day Sq.) East Boston for more than 36 years.
He was the beloved husband of 58 years of Elena M. (Mogavero); devoted father of Albert J. Pantano and his wife, Janet, of Georgetown and Dennis Pantano of Everett; dear brother of Gloria Ventura of Nahant and the late Anita, Domenic and Robert Pantano; cherished grandfather of Amanda M. Pantano and her companion, Lawrence McMahon, of Denver, CO, Amie J. Pantano and Andrea L. Pantano, both of Georgetown and is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews.

Vincent Strazzullo of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, formerly of the North End of Boston, died on March 20.
He retired from the US Air Force as a TSgt serving over 21 years.
He was the beloved husband of more than 53 years of Josephine R. (Romano) Strazzullo of Portsmouth; devoted father of Roberta A. Santangelo and her late husband, Raymond F. Jr., of Portsmouth and the late Marie B Margason; dear brother of William Strazzullo of Cambridge, Josephine Sarno of Las Vegas, Domenic Strazzullo of East Boston and the late Dennis Strazzullo; cherished grandfather of Jessica Santangelo of Portsmouth and is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of his life will be at The Sacred Heart Church, North Square, North End of Boston today, Wednesday, March 24 at 9:45 a.m. A Period of Visitation will be held prior to the Mass starting at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Anna Romano
Retired Supervisor at State Insurance Commission
Anna (Rubico) Romano of Greenfield, formerly of East Boston, died on March 16 at Franklin Medical Center. She was 85 years old.
Born Oct. 29, 1924 in Boston, daughter of Anthony and Teresa (Colantoni) Rubico, she married Felice Romano in June of 1944. He died in 2006.
She was a supervisor at the State of Massachusetts Insurance Commission but her life’s passion was her family. She was a homemaker, wife and mother who enjoyed cooking.
Her survivors include her two sons, Anthony and his wife, Linda, of Leyden and Philip and his wife, Leslie, of Plymouth, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Rogers, of Peabody.
Arrangements were by the Walker Funeral Home, Greenfield, MA. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Charles LaRocca, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on March 15. He was 80 years old.
He was beloved by family and friends and liked to cook for them. He was Sergeant-at-Arms for the Sulmona Club on Fleet Street, Boston for many years.
He was the beloved son of the late Carmine and Assunta (Dinunzio) LaRocca; loving husband of more than 60 years to Anita (Rosati); father of Robert and his wife, Lorna LaRocca, of Chelsea, Charles LaRocca of Revere, Steven LaRocca of East Boston, Eliane Walsh of Somerville, Gail LaRocca and Vincent Ferrara of Boston’s North End, Sandra Forte of Saugus, and Anita and her husband, Louis Vaccaro, of Winthrop. Grace (Dibilio) Peroni of Revere, formerly of East Boston and Boston’s North End, died on March 13. She was in her 94th year.
A retiree of Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Boston and from the Stop & Shop Bakery, she was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary-DAV 6712 and a former "Sunshine Lady" for the Revere League for the Disabled & Special Needs.
She was the wife of the late Clement Peroni; devoted mother of Dr. John Peroni, PhD, former dean at North Essex Community College and his wife, JoAnn Peroni R.N., of Newburyport and Guy S. Peroni and his wife, Margaret, of Revere, both retirees of the Revere School System; cherished grandmother of Jessica D’Angelo and her husband, Ralph, of Wilmington, John G. Peroni and his wife, Tina, of Thornton, NH, Brett Peroni and his wife, Kerry. of Lakeville, MA and Michael Peroni and his wife, Nadine, of Wilmington.
