Capacity crowd attends Rep. Adrian Madaro Re-Election Celebration

A capacity crowd of supporters and friends joined Rep. Adrian Madaro at his Re-Election Celebration Oct. 21 at the Hilton Garden Inn.

In their remarks, Mayor Michelle Wu and Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll praised Madaro for his outstanding work in the House of Representatives and excellent representation of the Eastie neighborhood on Beacon Hill.

“I wanted to be here to support someone who is such an important partner for the city and the state,” said Wu, who also lauded the longtime advocacy for East Boston by Adrian’s mother, Debra Cave, whose service inspired her son to get involved in public service.

Attorney-at-law Ariel Glantz Madaro introduced her husband, Rep. Madaro, for his remarks.

“There is only one version of this person, and I think this whole community is lucky to get to share that person,” said Ariel. “When it comes down to it, those of us in the community, what affects us most, is having someone you know is reliable, someone that will show up, someone who will be there for whatever issue, and that’s Adrian. He’s that way for his community, he’s that way for his family. I feel extremely blessed to have Adrian as my partner. We’re really lucky to have Adrian as our state representative.”

Rep. Madaro expressed his gratitude to the overflow crowd in attendance.

“Thank you to all of you for being here,” said Madaro. “It means the world to me. Some of you have been with me since 2015. All of you are part of what allows me to do the job I love doing, which is being your state representative. The partnership I have with this community is something that I absolutely cherish.”

Madaro also thanked his family for their support and understanding of the commitment it takes to be a state representative.

“I love this job because my family allows me to be the state representative that I want to be,” said Madaro.
