Licari, Stephen J. of East Boston, passed away at Mass. General Hospital on September 4, 2026. Beloved son of the late Mary V. (Hennessey) and A. Leonard “Lenny” Licari.
Loving brother of Richard L. “Rick” Licari and his wife Nancy of Quincy, Michael P. Licari of Tustin, CA and the late Robert A. Licari and James G. Licari.
Uncle of Molly Belovarac, Matthew Licari, James Licari and Doreese Licari. Grand uncle of Harper and Luke. Also survived by his dear sister-in-law Charlene Deveney.
Stephen was born in Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, but was raised and lived his entire life in East Boston. He attended Sacred Heart Grammar School, Christopher Columbus High School in the North End, class of 1972 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University in 1976.
Stephen worked for United States Government Accountability Office as an auditor for his entire career, retiring in 2018.
Stephen was involved in many activities in Sacred Heart Parish and was very well known throughout the community.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Sacred Heart Church, 303 Paris St., East Boston, Ma 02128 would be greatly appreciated by his family.
