Antoinetta “Ann” D’Alessandro
Longtime member of the East Boston Social Center
Antionetta “Ann” (DeAngelis) D’Alessandro of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at the age of 100. She was born on October 15, 1925.
Ann was the beloved wife of the late John D’Alessandro. She was the devoted mother of Diane LaVertue and her husband, Ronald and the late Joanne Raia and her late husband, Ronald; the cherished grandmother of Sharon Totten and Brian Kelly. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ann was a longtime member of the East Boston Social Center, where she formed many lasting friendships and enjoyed being part of the community she held dear.
Family and friends will honor Ann’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, Brooks Street, East Boston, for a Funeral Mass celebrating Ann’s life at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with Ann being laid to rest with her beloved husband, John at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
