Dorothy (Wrightson) Malgeri of East Boston passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at the age of 92.
She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Malgeri with whom she shared a long and loving marriage. A devoted mother, she is survived by her sons: David W. Malgeri of Massachusetts and Paul Malgeri and his wife, Sandra of East Boston. She was predeceased by her beloved son, James R. Malgeri.
Dorothy’s life was defined by love, kindness, and a strong sense of family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Thomas A, Denehy
Retired Longshoreman
Thomas A. Denehy of East Boston passed away at home on May 17, 2025. He was 84 years old. Born in Boston, he was the beloved son of the late Mary (Marcella) and John J. Denehy. Prior to his retirement he worked as a longshoreman for many years.
He was the loving father of Mary (Denehy) Sheran and her husband. George of East Boston and John Denehy of Sherborn; dear brother of the late John Denehy, Carl Wheeler and Phyllis (Wheeler) Zevolo; cherished grandfather of Kristen, Kaylene, Carissa, Nathan and Tessa and is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation in the Caggiano-O’Maley-Frazier Funeral Home, Winthrop today, Thursday, May 22 from 9 to 11 a.m.. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a,m. Services will conclude with the interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

James G. Ciampa
His ability to make people laugh was legendary
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, May 24th from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere, for James G. “Buda” Ciampa, who died peacefully at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, New Hampshire on Wednesday May 7, following a brief illness. He was 75 years old. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home, following the visitation, at 3 p.m. Interment will be held privately in Holy Cross Cemetery.
James was born on June 4, 1949 in Winthrop to his late parents, Anthony and Antonetta Ciampa. He and his brother, Anthony, Jr. were raised in Orient Heights, East Boston. He was educated in Boston Public Schools and was a graduate of Boston English High School, Class of 1967.
James later became a bus driver for the M.B.T.A, with his career spanning over 20 years. Throughout both his career and life, James had a very witty and humorous personality. James also enjoyed working as a driving school instructor, teaching all of the family, friends, and students. He was always able to tell stories of whatever was going on, whether his bus route, the neighborhood, or in general. His ability to make people laugh was legendary.
James married the love of his life Eileen Connors, on September 18, 1987. During this time, James took an early retirement to care for both of his parents, with Eileen by his side. James will always be remembered as a loyal friend, having a genuine personality and his love for his wife and family.
He was the beloved husband of Eileen C. (Connors) Ciampa of Windham, NH formerly Orient Heights East Boston; devoted son of the late Anthony J. Ciampa, Sr. and Antonetta M. (Camarda) Ciampa; the cherished brother of Anthony J. Ciampa, Jr. and his wife, Joanne of Erie, PA.; the treasured uncle of Anthony J. Ciampa, III and wife, Stephanie Ciampa of Washington, PA and their children: Samantha and Andrew Ciampa, Michelle M. Vattula and her husband, Sami of
Wexford, PA and their children, Alec and Alistar Vattula and Stephanie Mayo and her late husband, Robert Mayo and their children, Ava and Lucas Mayo and cousin and best friend of Michael Picariello, whom James considered as another brother and his wife, Linda of Stoneham, and their children: Michael, Philip and his wife, Stephanie, Anthony and, his wife, Erica, Steven, Jessica and her husband, Sal and Marc Picariello.
