Atlantic Works Gallery announces January exhibition

Dark and Light address­es member interpretation of the theme within their chosen medium

For its January exhibi­tion, Atlantic Works Gal­lery (AWG) is inviting its members to submit work exploring the theme of light and dark. This exhibit fos­ters artists’ interpretation of what light and dark mean within their discipline.

The exhibition will open at the East Boston gallery on January 4, 2025, with an opening reception at the gallery on the same day from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will be a Third Thursday reception with artists’ talks on January 16, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The show will close on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

This exhibition is a col­lection of members’ work that explores mediums and experiments with the theme

of this exhibit. Artist mem­bers’ works range from rep­resentational themes, ab­straction and conceptually inspired works. Members’ works range from charcoal to paint and digital works.
