Lifelong East Boston resident
Barbara C. Gaglione of East Boston passed away at home surrounded by her family on May 30th at the age of 88.
Barbara cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking for them and making ceramics with her friends. She will be missed by all.
The beloved wife of Pasquale Gaglione, she was the devoted mother of Richard Gaglione and his wife, Toni and Robert Gaglione and his late wife, Mary; adored grandmother of Jason, Christopher, Robert and Brianna Gaglione and cherished great-grandmother of Kallee. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends honored Barbara’s life by gathering on Monday June 3rd and again on Tuesday morning for a funeral service held in chapel of the funeral home. Services concluded with Barbara being laid to rest with her mother, Emily at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Boston.
Margaret Domurat
Of Dorchester
Margaret A. (Traynor) Domurat of Dorchester, passed away in her 98th year on June 1, 2024 at the Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley.
The loving daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Ellen (Moran) Traynor, she was the beloved wife of the late Adolph Domurat; devoted mother of Fr. Thomas Domurat and Anthony Domurat and his wife, Sheila of Dorchester; dear sister of the late Mary Grant, Alice Williams and Katherine Ahern. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Margaret’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home in East Boston today, Wednesday, June 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday morning at the Most Holy Redeemer Parish for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass. Please meet directly at the church. Services will conclude with Margaret being laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester with her beloved husband. May they rest in peace.

Gennaro J. D’Alessandro of East Boston passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2 at 90 years of age.
A United States Navy Veteran, Gennaro enjoyed going to Suffolk Downs in East Boston for horse racing and live steamed races.
The loving son of the late Antonio and Carmella (Sforza) ‘Alessandro, he was the beloved husband of the late Marie (Tentindo) D’Alessandro, devoted father of Linda Cook and her husband, Arthur of Saugus, Gerald D’Alessandro and James D’Alessandro and his wife, Kathleen, all of East Boston; dear brother of Gilda Lamonica, Anna Passariello, Elena Corbett, Mary D’Alessandro and the late Johnny, Joseph, Anthony, Adeline, Lena and Tina; cherished grandfather of Artie, Ashley, Tiffany, Chad and Mandy and great-grandfather of Dante, Gio and Navaeh Rose. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Gennaro’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, on Monday, June 10th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Parish, Brooks Street, East Boston, for a Funeral Mass celebrating his life at 11 a.m. Services will conclude with Gennaro being laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Raymond Milton Harris
President of East Boston Little League for many years and coached East Boston Pop Warner Football and TBall
Raymond Milton Harris of East Boston passed away on May 27th.
The loving son of the late Raymond and Adele (Keyes) Harris, he was the beloved father of Geoffrey R. Harris and his companion, Lisa Riley of Woburn, dear brother of Barbara DiChiaro and her husband, Anthony of East Boston, Gregory Raines of Vermont and the late Maureen Harris and Scott Harris. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and longtime friend, Denise Carley of Winthrop.
Raymond was the President of East Boston Little League for many years. He also coached East Boston Pop Warner Football and East Boston T Ball. Raymond was a longtime employee of East Boston Diamond & Gold Exchange- Ray was not just an employee at East Boston Diamond and Gold, Walter Yourawski and his wife, Cerie Yourawski were his extended family for over 39 years, known to their children as Uncle Ray, and like a brother to Walter and Cerie, as he was with Sandra Yourawski, Walter’s sister for 27 years, and after Sandra’s passing, the closeness never wavered as Ray was revered as a family member and a staple in Walter’s family until his passing.
