Andrew “Jimmy” Farro
A Hard Worker, Generous to His Friends and Family
Andrew J. “Jimmy” Farro of East Boston died on April 5.
Jimmy was born and raised in East Boston and lived most of his life in the Jeffries Point area. He enjoyed travel, good food and wine and pleasant company. He would converse with almost anyone on a variety of topics. One of his favorite destinations were the restaurants of the North End, where he was a frequent visitor. Jimmy was a hard worker and generous to his friends and family.
The beloved father of Andralyn “Andie” Farro and her husband, William Ominsky and James “Jay” Farro, he was the grandfather of Matthew Farro and Dylan Ominsky, son of the late Evelyn (DelloRusso) and Frank Farro, brother of the late Frank and John Farro and also survived by his nephew, John Fagone.
A Celebration of Life for Jimmy will be held on Thursday, April 14 in the Magrath Funeral Home, 336 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] East Boston from 4 to 6 p.m.
