Giuseppe Barisano
Of Revere, formerly of East Boston
Guiseppe Barisano of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 2, at the age of 89. Giuseppe was born in Fontanarosa, Avellino Italy, the cherished son of the late Modestino and Teresa Indresano Barisano. He was the beloved husband of Silvia (Ruggiero) Barisano, devoted father of Teresa Barisano-Thorpe and her husband, Bryan of North Andover, Maryann Barisano and her husband, Anton Turanov and the late Modestino “Dino” Barisano; adored grandfather of Maxxwell Thorpe; dear brother of Felice Barisano and his wife, Ester of Venezuela and caring uncle of Teresa Marin. He is also survived by many dear friends and extended family.
Family and friends honored Giuseppe’s life by gathering at Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere on Sunday, June 6 and again on Monday morning, June 7 before leaving in procession to St. Anthony’s Church, Revere for a Funeral Mass celebrated in Giuseppe’s honor. Services concluded with Giuseppe being laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
