East Boston Little League Is in Full Swing

The East Boston Little League is enjoying a banner 2019 season under the direction of President Chuckie Cassaro and the board of directors.

While a rainy spring has resulted in the postponement of some games, the league has caught up with the rescheduling of makeup games.

“And Noyes Park is going to be ready on June 12,” reports Cassaro. “We’re all looking forward to getting out there and playing on the new field.”

There is an increased enrollment, particularly in the Senior League. “We have four teams of 14 players each in the Senior League,” said Cassaro. “The players are having a lot of fun on the big diamond. There is a lot of enthusiasm. The players are making friends, getting along, and advancing their skills and knowledge of the game.”

Cassaro thanked the parents for registering their children in the league.

“I hope East Boston Little League has been everything that you thought it would be,” said Cassaro.
