Barbara M. (Phillips – Fahey) died in East Boston on March 24.
The beloved wife of the late Frederick J. Smith, she was the mother of Frederick J. Smith and his wife, Junko of Arlington, Paul J. Smith of East Boston, Sharon Cecca and her husband, Paul of Revere, Mary E. Sacco and her husband, Anthony of East Boston and Donna Glennon and her husband, Tim of South Berwick, ME; grandmother of Joseph, Michael, Nicholas, Christina, Anthony, Christopher, Kai, Kevin, Candice and Colleen and great-grandmother of Jack, Brendan, Alexis and Ava.
Her funeral was held from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St [at Day Sq] East Boston on Friday, March 29. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in the Most Holy Redeemer Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory to the Home for Little Wanders would be appreciated.
