Died in her 100th year
Angela (Capozzi) DeMarco of Orient Heights East Boston, died on September
8 in her 100th year.
The beloved wife of the late Pasquale DeMarco, she was the loving mother of Carl “Sluggo” DeMarco and his wife, Janet of East
Boston and the late Grace Alba and her surviving husband, Richard of
Winchester; dear sister of Phyllis DeMarco of Chelsea and Jeanette Monaco of New York and the late Josephine Manke, Margaret
Bonavita, Susie Martini Michelina Lonardo, Tiberio “ Bay” Capozzi, Crescenzio “Gunga” Capozzi and Alphonso “Fofo” Capozzi; cherished grandmother of Deirdre, Richard and Darrin Alba, David, Patricia and
Patrick DeMarco and adored great- grandmother of nine grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Angela’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood “Funeral

Wednesday at 9 a.m. before
leaving in procession to St. Anthony’s Church, Revere for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. For guest book and directions:

Virginia Cieri
Former owner of Tom’s Cleaners and Cieri Cleaners in East Boston
Virginia (Dente) Cieri of Saugus, formerly of East Boston, passed away on September 5 at the age of 101.
Born in Boston , she was the daughter of the late Alessio and Concetta (D’Amato) Dente.
She was raised in East Boston, attended the Donald McKay School and was the proprietor of both Tom’s Cleaners and Cieri Cleaners in East Boston. She was a fabulous cook, top-notch seamstress and centurion.
The beloved wife for 63 years to the late Thomas (Tom) Cieri, she was the loving mother of Elaine Krafve and her husband, William “Buddy” of Saugus and Diane Friedman and her husband, Len of Middleton; cherished grandmother of Lisa Butera of Middleton, Jennifer Turner and her husband, Jeff of Reading, Marc Butera and his wife, Maxilia of Windham, NH and Paul Krafve of Saugus; adored great-grandmother of Caroline, Avery, Thiago, Jay and Kalisse and the dear sister of the late Josephine, Nell, Rose, Alphonse, Alice, Albert and Mary.
Funeral arrangements were by Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, Revere.
Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
