Frank ‘Hank’ D’Annolfo

Of East Boston

Frank “Hank” D’Annolfo of East Boston passed away on June 5. He was 83 years old.

A US Army veteran, he was the cherished son of the late Frank and Mary (Rizzo) D’Annolfo, the dear brother of the late Ida Lamattina (who recently passed away on May 11), Lena Lamattina and Gino D’Annolfo; fond uncle of Stephen and Anthony Lamattina and Frank and Maria D’Annolfo.

Funeral arrangements were by Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, Revere.

Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Family’s request please omit flowers. Frank was a late U.S.

Sandra Guthrie

Of East Boston

Sandra Guthrie of East Boston passed away on June 7.

The beloved wife of Nicholas “Luis” Huertas-Ortiz of East Boston, she was the devoted mother of Jason Guthrie of Boston, Wilson Guthrie and his wife, Jessica of Lynn, Rolando Guthrie and his wife, Dena of East Boston, Jennifer Pizarro and her husband, Eliezer of Chelsea and the late Stephanie Abreu and her husband, Alfredo; loving daughter of the late Shirley Guthrie and Constance (McDermott); dear sister of Stephen Guthrie and his wife, Jan of New Hampshire and the late Carol Guthrie and cherished grandmother of Kayli, Yessica, Gianna, Nico, Joshua, Hannah, Eliel, Isabella, Jacob and Jael.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral arrangements were by the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, Revere. Mary Moughan

Proud client of Commission for the Blind

Mary G. (Cataldo) Moughan of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed on Monday, June 5 at the Winthrop Pace Center after a long illness. She was 93 years old.

Mrs. Moughan was born and raised in East Boston and lived there until moving to Revere 30 years ago. She attended schools in East Boston and was a 1941 graduate of East Boston High School. She had a 12 year career at the John Hancock Life Insurance Co. of Boston within their food service division (cafeteria) retiring at the age of 65. Mary was also a proud client of the Commission for the Blind.

She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel C. Moughan who died on August 8, 2003, the cherished mother of Deborah A. Moughan and Mary Jean Moughan, both of Marblehead and Carl D. Moughan of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; the dear sister of Victoria DiBlasi and her husband, Retired Revere Firefighter Maurice “Moe” DiBlasi, Sr. of Saugus and Anthony Cataldo and his wife, Nina of Revere. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
