James Celona, Jr.

James J. Celona, Jr. of East Boston died on August 24.

He was the beloved father of James A. Celona of Winthrop and Gabriella, Alexandra and Guilianna of Malden; former husband of Susan (Fronduto) Celona and Annette (Monteleone) Celona; cherished son of Dolores (Silva) Celona and James J. Celona, Sr.; loving brother of Michelle Celona O’Neill and her husband, Daniel of Winthrop, St. Sgt. Joel Celona and his wife, Paula of East Boston and Meghann Celona of Revere; adored uncle of Michayla, Michel, Daniel, Joelle, Ella and Joel, Jr.

His Funeral will be held from Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St., Revere on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston at 11 a.m. Family and friends may visit today, Wednesday, from 3 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Anthony Brazzo

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston

Anthony W. Brazzo of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died unexpectedly on August 25.

He was the cherished son of Lillian “Chickie” (Myers) Wadlend and her husband, Joseph Wadlend of Revere and the loving son of Anthony C. Brazzo of Revere; dear brother of Joseph Sanecchairo of Danvers; fond uncle of Leonard Sanecchario and fiancé of Kathleen Haggerty of Revere.

Nora Pellegriti

Of New Hampshire, formerly of East Boston and Winthrop

Nora R. (Carresi) Pellegriti of Pelham, NH, formerly of East Boston and Winthrop, died August 25. She was 88 years old.

The wife of the late Dr. A. Thomas Pellegriti who died May 24, 2011, she was born in Boston on February 29, 1924, the daughter of the late John and the late Rose (Palladino) Carresi. She was a graduate of Boston Girl’s High School, attended Harvard University and was a retired assistant buyer for Jordan Marsh in Boston, She enjoyed travelling, sailing, golfing and spending her winters in Marco Island, Florida. Her true passion was being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Pelham Funeral Home, 11 Nashua Rd. in Pelham, NH from 9 to 12 Friday morning. Of Leominster, formerly of East Boston

Virginia (Dioguardi) Casaletto of Leominster, formerly of East Boston, died on August 25.

She was the loving mother of Robert N. Casaletto of Oregon and Timothy Casaletto of Brookline; cherished daughter of Nicholas and Marie (Cotreau) Dioguardi of East Boston; beloved partner of Todd Carnes of Leominster; dear sister of Marian Dioguardi and her husband, John Borchiard of Newton, David Dioguardi and his wife, Louise and Glen Dioguardi, all of East Boston; former wife of Robert “Iffy” Casaletto and is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was the beloved wife of the late Albert W. Hafey with whom she shared 32 years of marriage; loving mother of Geraldine Rios and her husband, Alfredo of New York, Christine Foscaldo and her husband, John of East Boston and the late Michael DiGiulio; dear sister of Mary Melillio of East Boston and the late Josephine Montaldo, Phyllis Buono, Connie Rozzi and Salvatore Spano; cherished grandmother of Stacey and Michael DiGiulio, Nicole Rios and John Albert Foscaldo and six great grandchildren.

Worked for Adjunct General’s Office of Mass National Guard

Nicholas A. Restuccia of Centerville, formerly of Revere, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 20.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was employed by the Mass National Guard Adjunct? Generals Office.

He was the beloved husband of over 60 years to Theresa “Tessie” (Cappuccio) Restuccia; cherished son of the late Antonino and Josephine Restuccia; devoted father of Nicholas Restuccia, Jr. and his wife, Lillian of Lynnfield, Jane Restuccia of New York, NY and Joan Restuccia and her husband, Franco Ferrara of Milan, Italy; dear brother of the late Grace and Esther Restuccia; adored grandfather of Joseph and Paul and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Died Suddenly in East Boston

Treshawna K. Williams died suddenly in East Boston on August 4.

She was the devoted mother of Taraie Menezes; beloved daughter of Sandra Williams and Renae Matheiu; beloved sister of Ayahnna Williams, Daniel Williams-Waite, Samuel Matheiu and Michael Matheiu. She also leaves aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as other relatives and friends.

Robert T. Caggiano of Chelsea, formerly of East Boston, died on August 17.

A US Army veteran, he was employed for 44 years as Stationary Engineer at Boston College.

The beloved husband of Annelies (Anke) Caggiano, he was the loving father of Brenda Caggiano and Susan Marie Caggiano, both of Saugus, Robert M. Caggiano of Nahant and Thomas Caggiano of Chelsea; cherished grandfather of Abigail, Nicholas, Rebecca and Erika; dear brother of Eleanor LeBrun of Melrose, James Caggiano of East Boston, Rosemary Watson of Saugus and the late Frantcis “Buddy” Caggiano.
