Harbor View Neighborhood Association Meeting agenda
The next meeting of the Harbor View Neighborhood Association will be on May 5, 2025, at 6pm. The meeting is In Person only but will be streamed via Facebook for archival purposes. Attendance on Facebook does not qualify for voting. The meeting will be held in the Salesian Boys and Girls Club cafeteria, across from the Brooke Charter School on Byron Street. You can access the meeting from the front door on Byron Street or from the rear door on Wordsworth Street, which is the handicap entry, to avoid the stairs. We also have an elevator available from the front door. Since we are indoors, masks are optional for those in attendance.

Llega a la cafeteria del Salesian Boys y Girls Club por la calle Byron al otro lado de Brooke Charter School. Pueda usar la entrada pricipal por la calle Byron o la entrada en calle de Wordsworth. La entrada de calle Wordsworth no tienne escaleras por personas con discapacidades. El cubre bocas sera opcional puesto que estaremos adentro.

Love Your Block, HVNA, Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 9:15am at Salesian for neighborhood clean-up. St. Vincent de Paul Clothing Drive planned for May 3, 8am-5pm and May 4, 8am-1pm at St. Lazarus Church parking lot. National Association Letter Carriers, NALC, Food Drive scheduled for May 10, 2025. Please place non-perishable donations in a bag by your mailbox.

EL Parche Restaurant and Bar (30min) This is the 1st Presentation by Attorney Gonzalez on behalf of owner, Elkin Vanegas, and Developer/Operator Mery Quintana and Amparo Pereanez for the proposed project at 636-638 Bennington Street. The proponent seeks variances, a liquor license for beer, wine and cordials and an entertainment license. The project is planning a restaurant and bar with a seating capacity of 20 people. Hours of operation from 8am to 10pm.
