Olga S. Elliott of Swampscott, formerly of East Boston and Winthrop, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17 at 96 years of age.
The beloved wife of the late John Walker Elliott Sr. and the loving daughter of the late Ettore and Rachelina (LaPegna) DeRota, she was the devoted mother of Carol St. John and her husband, Laurence of Swampscott, David Elliott and his wife, Patricia of Beverly, Thomas Elliott and his wife, Jennifer of Lynnfield, Robert Elliott and wife Rita and Wayne Elliott, all of East Boston and the late John W. Elliott Jr. and his surviving wife, Evelyn of Rockland; dear sister of the late Mary Kovacev, Clara Marcucella, Ralph DeRota, Victoria Boniface and Lydia Spoletti, the cherished grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Olga’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Monday, November 27th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint John’s the Evangelist ~ Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Winthrop, at 12 Noon.
