Wu Leads Earth Day Celebration on City Hall Plaza

Mayor Michelle Wu joined City departments and external partners on Monday, April 22, for an Earth Day celebration at City Hall Plaza. The event highlighted strategies for making Boston the greenest city in the country, with resources available to help residents engage in climate action. The event ran from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., with the Mayor participating at 1:45 p.m. Other key speakers included Rev. Mariama White-Hammond, Chief of Environment, Energy, and Open Space, and Oliver Sellers-Garcia, Green New Deal Director.
