Edward Sarro

Worked at Navy Yard

Edward C. Sarro of East Boston died on November 19.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he worked as a painter at the Boston Naval Shipyard for many years.

He was the husband of the late Mildred (Trecart); father of Angelo Sarro of Merrimac and Theresa Hillman of Mississippi.

Funeral arrangements were by the Ruggiero Mazzarella Memorial Home (Orient Heights) East Boston. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.

North End resident

Lisa (O’Neil) Pantaliere of Boston’s North End, formerly of Somerville, died on November 21.

She was the wife of Richard Pantaliere of Winchester, formerly of East Boston; dear sister of Ruth Ann O’Neil of Connecticut, Sean O’Neil and Christine O’Neil, both of Billerica and cherished aunt of seven nieces and nephews.

Vita (Tittone) Viarella of East Boston died on November 20. She was 96 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Viarella; loving mother of Joseph Viarella and his wife, Louise, and James Viarella and his wife, Janice, all of Revere, John Viarella and Steven Viarella and his wife, Bernie, of East Boston, Catherine Freni and her husband, Rocco, of Medford, Joan Viarella of Chelsea and the late Salvatore and Michael Viarella.

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston

Joseph Giunta of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on November 21.

The beloved husband of Stella ( Amore) Giunta with whom he shared 50 years of marriage, he was the loving father of Salvatore Giunta and his wife, Ermilinda, and Josephine Catino and her husband, William Catino Jr., all of Revere and Rosemaria Piazza of Italy; cherished grandfather of Joseph and Marisa Giunta, Angelo and Stephanie Piazza and Lia and Alessia Catino; dear brother of the late Josephine, Liborio and Salvatore Giunta.

Angelina Frederico-Salvati

Of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston

Angelina Frederico-Salvati of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, died recently.

She was the devoted wife of the late Louis Salvati; loving mother of Amelia Moschella of Saugus, Michael Salvati of Revere and Marie Sentner of East Boston and is also survived by six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Her Funeral will be held from the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Avenue, Saugus, today, Wednesday, at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Magaret Langone

East Boston resident

Margaret (Interbartolo) Langone died in East Boston on November 18.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Langone; mother of the late Donna Giordano; mother-in-law of James Giordano; grandmother of Michael, Christopher and James Giordano; sister of John Interbartolo and the late Florence Belgiorno, Pasquale, Anthony, Salvatore, Charles, Ross, Joseph and Michael Interbartolo. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters.

Sophia ‘Sophie’ Anderson

Quincy resident

Sophia "Sophie" (Goulski) Anderson of Quincy, formerly of Boston, died at home on November 17 surrounded by her loving family.

She enjoyed Broadway musicals, theater, singing and traveling. She devoted her life to her family and loved being a mom. Her children will always remember their family cruise to Nova Scotia in celebration of her 80th birthday.

She was the wife of the late Roland H. Anderson; loving mother of Thomas S. Anderson of East Boston, Katherine Anderson and her husband, Thomas Szepatowski, of Bristol, RI, Dr. Peter D. Anderson of Quincy, and the late Robert R. Anderson; sister of Barbara McLaughlin of Rockland, Carolyn Duff of Marion and the late Gregory Goulski, II.

She was the beloved wife of 63 years of the late Richard Di Perri; loving mother of Salvatore DiPerri and his wife, Larryan, of Haverhill and the late Lorraine Barret; the cherished grandmother of five and great grandmother of five.

Joseph Raimondi Sr., 81

Of North Weymouth, formerly of East Boston

Joseph P. Raimondi Sr. of North Weymouth, formerly of East Boston, died on November 18. He was 81 years old.

A retired technician for Dry Tech, Clinton and LFE Corp. of Waltham, he was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothea "Dotty" (Downs) Raimondi; devoted father of Joseph "Joey" P. Raimondi, Jr. of No. Weymouth, Karen Miller and Jill Sweeney, both of Whitman; proud grandfather of Robert and Justine Sweeney; loving brother of Peter of Winthrop, Vincent of Maryland, Richard of Jamaica Plain, John of Marshfield, Albert of East Boston, Ann Crowley of Las Vegas, Margaret Giambrone of Revere, the late Virginia Devlin and the late Rose Serra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Paul M. Adams of Malden, formerly of Roxbury, died suddenly on November 14.

The beloved son of Florence P. (LaRose) Adams of Malden and the late Robert A. Adams, formerly of Roxbury, he was the loving brother of Ruth Adams and her partner, Alan Swanstrom, both of Malden, Robert F. Adams and his wife, Elizabeth, of East Boston, Karen M. Adams of Malden, Gloria J. Strand and her husband, Robert, of Duxbury and is also survived by six nieces and nephews.

A former realtor, she was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Marotta with whom she shared 13 years of marriage; loving mother of Mary Ann Marotta of Revere; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela (Marafino) Marotta; dear sister of Frances R. Cristello of Revere and the late Gilda Pennell and Frank Natale; fond aunt of Camille Cristello, Mary Ann Carvalho, and Janice and Linda Natale.

He was the cherished son of the late Michael "Mario" and Marylou (Barrasso) Dampolo; loving brother of Cheryl Yetman of Arlington, Robert Stack and his wife, Patricia, and Eric Stack and his wife, Michelle, all of East Boston, Robyn Stack of Newburyport, Mia Dampolo of Saugus, Michael Dampolo of Carver and the late Doreen "Renee" Marasca; fond uncle of many nieces, nephews, cousins and his best friend and cousin, Marie Labriola and her husband, Mike.
