Ann Vellante, a lifelong East Boston resident, marked her 100th birthday on Friday, September 12th at a celebration hosted by her children, Buster, Patti and Mark and in spirit, the late Steven and her husband Frank, at The Orient Heights Yacht Club. The party emphasized the love, respect and appreciation all share for Ann. The party brought together Ann’s extended family and friends who were happy to share memories and express their love and affection for a woman who, at 100 years of age, continues to amaze all with her full and active life. She is still a talented chef and baker known for her Italian specialties and wonderful Sunday dinners.
