Musicians from the Otis, Kennedy, and 7th grade EBHS music program added the sounds of a marching
band to add to the high-pitched atmosphere of East Boston’s February 12 boys basketball game against
Chelsea. The young musicians made their first appearance at an East Boston High sports event. The
program is part of the partnership between the Boston Public Schools and ZUMIX, an East Boston-based
nonprofit organization dedicated to building community through music and creative technology.
