Local Students Who Made the UMass Amherst Fall 2022 Dean’s List

Below is a list of local students who were named to the dean’s list at the University of Massachusetts Amherst for the fall 2022 semester.

In order to qualify, an undergraduate student must receive a 3.5 grade-point average or better on a four-point scale.

Smith Named to Dean’s List

 Denise M. Smith, of East Boston, was named to first honors on the Clark University Dean’s List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2022 semester.

Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Local Emerson College Students Earn Dean’s List

The following students are named to Emerson College’s Dean’s List for the Fall 2022 semester. The requirement to make Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Sebastian Ospina of East Boston is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Class of 2023.

Amy Tsourmas of East Boston is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the Class of 2023.
