PLAN: East Boston community update (20 min)
PLAN: East Boston is a long-range neighborhood-wide planning initiative organized by the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) that, when complete, will update neighborhood zoning, establish neighborhood design guidelines, and propose new capital improvements to public space, including near- and long-term improvements to the neighborhood’s transportation network.

We want to create space for the community to discuss its views on the proposed change to reduce the number of off-street parking spaces from 110 spaces to 47 spaces and how we should respond.

Time permitting – discuss Frankfort + Gove Street Housing Project whose proposed change to convert nearly all housing units from condos to rentals was approved at the BPDA Board Meeting on Oct. 13, 2022.
Our next meeting after this one will be on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 6:30p on Zoom. GSCA will not host a community meeting in December 2022 due to the holidays.
