Marie Goldspring

Retired Waitress

Marie A. (Correale) Goldspring of East Boston passed away on Sept. 16. 

For many years, Marie worked as a waitress at the 1800 Club in East Boston, finishing her career at Brother’s Restaurant in Winthrop.

She was the devoted mother of MaryAnn Barbarisi and her husband, Richard of Winthrop, Joseph Goldspring and his wife, Cynthia Goldspring, the former wife of Joseph Goldspring, Sr., dear sister of Carmella Calvino and Dorothy Gobiel of West Peabody and the late Anthony Correale, Domenic Correale Jr., Ralph Correale and Phyllis Curtis; loving grandmother of Danelle, Melanie, Richard Barbarisi II and Rebecca Goldspring; cherished great-grandmother of Nicholas, Jessica, Adyana, Sydney and Kaleigh and doting great-great grandmother of Isaiah. 

Funeral arrangements were by the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, East Boston. Daniel Johnson

Lifelong East Boston Resident

Daniel T. Johnson, 67, a lifelong resident of East Boston, passed away on August 8 after a brief illness. 

He was the beloved son of the late Allen and Molly (Stornaieulo) Johnson, brother of Richard Johnson and his wife, Geraldine, Irene Costello and her husband, Edward, Cheryl Van Meter, Warren Johnson and the late Dorothea Greco, Allen Johnson and Anthony Stornaieulo.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated for Danny on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Sacred Heart Church, Brooks St, East Boston.

Michael Amirault

Of East Boston

Michael C. Amirault of East Boston passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The beloved son of the late Charles and Mary (Doherty) Amirault, he was the dear brother of Kathleen Murphy and her husband, Thomas of Woburn, Charles G. Amirault of East Boston and the late Stephen P. Amirault; cherished uncle of Jean Paul Montgomery, Stephen Montgomery, Sean Amirault, Shane Amirault and Andrew Murphy and is also survived by many loving cousins.
