Clifford Burri, Sr.
Past Member of Courageous Generation and Holy Name Society at St. Joseph-St. Lazarus Church and 50 -year member of MBTA Carmen’s Union

Clifford Burri, Sr. of East Boston, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 9. 
Cliff was a Marine Corps veteran who fought during the Korean Conflict. He was also a past member of the Malden Moose Club as well as part of the Courageous Generation- St. Joseph- St. Lazarus Church and a past member of the Holy Name- St. Joseph- St. Lazarus Church. Cliff was also part of the MBTA Carmen’s Union 589 for 50 years.
He was the beloved husband of the late Jessie (Guarino) Burri, devoted father of Clifford Burri Jr. of East Boston and his late wife, Evelyn, Gina Beatrice and her husband, Michael of California and Steven Burri and his wife, Lorraine of East Boston; dear brother of the late Claire Strabone, Robert Burri, Vera Iovanni, Frances Tully and David Burri; cherished grandfather of Evelyn, Michael, Michael Jr., Aaron, Nicholas, Steven Jr. and Kristina and adored great-grandfather of Bella, Gianna, Antonia, Michael, Aumri and Melea. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 
Family and friends will honor Clifford’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street East Boston MA 02128, today, Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to St. Joseph- St. Lazarus Church for a 10 a.m. Mass honoring Clifford’s life. Services will conclude with Clifford being buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford with his beloved wife. May they rest in peace.

Helen Morrissey Ciavardini
Past member of the Courageous Generation
Helen (Logiudice) Morrissey Ciavardini of East Boston passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the age of 91.
Helen was an employee of Filene’s Basement for over 50 years. She was an avid ballroom dancer at the old Wonderland Ballroom, a life-long parishioner of St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church and a past member of the Courageous Generation. She will be missed by all.
 The beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Morrissey and the late Louis J. Ciavardini, she was the dear sister of Frank Logiudice, the late Sheila of Dracut, the late Frances Murano and her surviving husband, Salvatore, and the late Philip Logiudice, Marie Logiudice, Rocco Logiudice and his surviving wife, Renee. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her devoted stepchildren the Morrissey’s and Ciavardini’s. Funeral arrangements were by the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home (Orient Heights) East Boston. Services concluded with Helen be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Gladys Grato
Of East Boston
Gladys M. (Armstrong) Grato of East Boston passed away on Jan. 5 surrounded by her loving family.  
The beloved daughter of William and Ellen (Johnston) Armstrong, she was the beloved wife of the late Simone “Sonny” Grato, devoted mother of Ellen, Barbara, Patricia and Simone Grato and her companion, Robert Mellone, all of East Boston, Anthony Grato Sr. and his wife, Karol of East Falmouth, Charles Grato and his wife, Sherri of Weymouth and Danielle Schell and her husband, Richard of Chelsea; cherished grandmother of Robyn, Johnathan, Michael, Anthony, Gabrielle, Brandon and the late Robert Jr.; great grandmother of Kayla, Koshin, Sonny, Johnathan Jr. and beloved dog Mom to Rex. She was the dear sister of William Armstrong and his sweetheart, Ann Tobin, John Armstrong and his wife, Joanne, Mabel Arsenault and Theresa Morrissey and her husband, Martin and the late Margaret, Jeanette, Winifred, Patricia, Frances, Mary and Rita and dear sister-in- law of Fredrick Grato and his wife, Judith, Marie St. Pierre, Annette Haycock, Robert Kozlowski, Elaine, Kathleen, Cheryl, Linda Grato and the late Antonio, Susan, James, Roger, Thomas, Charles, Joseph, Henrietta, Gerald, Rosemary and Eugene. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Sean Wildman
Forty year GE employee
Sean Wildman of Revere died on Jan. 9, 2020 at the age of 69.  
Born in Boston on Aug. 17, 1950 to the late Philip and Mary (Russell), he was the beloved husband of Janis Bard Wildman, devoted step father of Paul “PJ” Bard of Revere; dear brother of Philip Wildman and his wife, Nancy of Sagamore Beach, and Russell Wildman and his wife, Susan of Saugus and caring brother in law of Carol Ferrandi of Revere and Elaine Stilwell and her husband, Bill of Melrose.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  
Sean married the “love of his life,” Janis, 14 years ago in  Jamaica after going together for several years.  They have many wonderful memories of their travels over the years.  
He was an avid Boston Bruins fan and enjoyed being out on the boat.  Sean was a member of the Franco American Club in Lynn for many years.  After owning his own electrical company for a short period he went on to work for General Electric for 40 years.

Robert Iudica
Retired truck driver and proud lifetime member of Winthrop Elks
Robert M. Iudica of Saugus, formerly of Revere and East Boston, died on Monday, Jan. 6 at the Massachusetts General Hospital after being stricken at his home on Dec. 23, the day after celebrating his 85th birthday. 
Robert was born and raised in East Boston. He was educated in Boston Public Schools and attended East Boston High School. Robert began a 35 plus year career as a truck driver for the Boston Shipyard in East Boston. 
He was married for 60 years to Phyllis R. (Cimino). The couple resided in East Boston for many years, then later moving to Revere, and for the past 18 years they lived in Saugus. He loved spending time with family and always having a good time.
He was a very proud life-time Member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078, Winthrop.
He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Phyllis R. (Cimino) Iudica of Saugus, loving father of Deborah A. Zaccaria of Reading and her late husband, Anthony M. “Tony” Zaccaria, Paul Tango  and his wife, Cheryl of Cape Coral, FL, Robert Tango of Woburn and Roseann Tango of Chelsea; cherished grandfather of Robert Tango and Christopher Tango and his wife, Sarah, all of Florida, Robert Tango and his wife, Christina of New Hampshire, Lisa Zaccaria of Saugus and the late Michelle Zaccaria, Gregory Tango and Jason Tango adored great-grandfather of Brenna, Jack and Abagail and Lucas; dear brother of the late Lilian Iudica, Dorothy D’Ettore, Anthony Iudica and Josephine Cellucci. and proud son of the late Carmelo and Teresa (Aleo) Iudica. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Vertuccio & Smith, Home for Funerals, Revere. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Dominic D’Avolio
Of East Boston
Dominic T. D’Avolio of East Boston passed away peacefully on Jan. 5 in his 102nd year. 
He was the beloved husband for 76 years of the late Elizabeth D’Avolio, loving father of Richard D’Avolio and cherished grandfather of Steven and Richard D’Avolio, all of Winthrop, dear brother of Gene, Charlie and Margie, as well as other deceased brothers and sisters. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 
Funeral arrangements were by the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, Orient Heights East Boston. Committal service was at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne where Dominic was laid to rest with his beloved wife, Elizabeth. May they rest in peace. Gerald Louis Fabiano
April 05, 1934 – December 20, 2019
Gerald L. Fabiano, age 85 of Revere, formerly of East Boston and Peabody, died on Friday December 20,2019, at his home after a brief illness.
Born and raised in East Boston, he was the son of the late Francesco and Rose (Poupolo) Fabiano.
He attended Boston Schools and earned an Associate’s Degree from Bunker Hill Community College.
Gerald was a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Missouri during the Korean War, 2 years of his service were served in the Korean War Zone.
He had served as a City of Boston Police Officer for 30 years. Receiving numerous commendations during his career, he was credited with saving many lives.
He was an “exercise fanatic” walking Revere Beach daily and going to the gym. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved his Robyn very much and hopes to join her and his mother. “He always tried his best and made mistakes; but all in all things are good with God.”
He is survived by a daughter JoAnn Fabiano Sims of Peabody, a son Gerald Fabiano Jr. of Danvers, his 3 grandchildren; Ricky Sims and his wife Caroline of Rowley, Jessica Sims of Manhattan, New York, and Jillian Sims and her fiance Joseph Ricci of South Berwick, Maine, 2 sisters; Anna Vellante of East Boston, and Eleanor DePalma of Stoughton, and many nieces and nephews including Mark Vellante of Lynnfield. He is also survived by Teresa Fabiano of Florida. Gerald was the father of the late Robyn Fabiano and the brother of the late CarmelIa Antonnucci, Elizabeth Matt, Rita Tritto, Mary Spina, and Frank, Rocco, Sonny, and Tony Fabiano.
His Funeral will be held on Friday at 10:30am from the Solimine Funeral Home 426 Broadway (RTE129),  Lynn followed  by a Funeral  Mass at 11:00am in St. Pius V Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation in the Funeral Home prior to Mass from 8:30am-10:30am.
