Victim Identified in Last Week’s Stabbing Death

The man stabbed to death on West Eagle Street has been identified as 22-year-old Carlos Ramos of East Boston.

Ramos’s death marks only the second homicide in a relatively quiet year for crime in East Boston.

Ramos was found just before 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3 after police responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 36 West Eagle St.

Officers located an adult male victim, later identified as Ramos, suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
