The East Boston Museum and Historical Society Board of Directors wishes to express our deepest thanks to the many members of the East Boston community for their tremendous support. We have made a lot of progress towards establishing a museum which honors East Boston’s rich history. We filed our legal papers, received our 501c3 status and hosted two very successful events. The photo exhibit of the works of the late Paul Paulsen rekindled many memories and took viewers back in time to East Boston in the 1940s and 50s. A special thank you to Mrs. Paulsen and her daughters for loaning the photos to the Museum and the Atlantic Works Gallery for hosting the event. The special evening with John Christoforo, feature writer for the Post Gazette and beloved author of Nanna and Babbononno again took attendees back in time. A special thank you to John’s many friends from the Italian American organizations and his family members for supporting this event.
Everywhere we go, people are expressing their excitement for the East Boston Museum. We hope to see you all at an upcoming speaker event this year!! Details will be announced shortly.
