Oscar Forlani of Swampscott, formerly of East Boston, passed away on May 21.

Mr. Forlani was the owner/proprietor of Oscar Woodworking having opened his business in 1961. He provided East Boston and the surrounding åcommunities with quality cabinetry and craftsmanship for 54 years.

He was the beloved husband of Teresa (Lyons); loving father of Rose Forina of Winthrop, Oscar and Alyce Forlani, Jr. of Middleton, Diane Barsotti of Winthrop and Anna and Filippo Frattaroli of Winchester; cherished nonno of Anna Gower, Anthony and Catherine Forina, Teresa and Greg Dankner, Nicholas Barsotti, Philip and Kelly Frattaroli, Daniella Frattaroli and her fiancée, Benny D’Artista, Jessica Frattaroli and the late Mark Frattaroli. He is also lovingly survived by two great grandchildren; Alison and Delia.

His Funeral will be held from the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston, Thursday at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In Iieu of flowers, donations in memory of Oscar Forlani may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Research Fund at the Massachusetts General Hospital, 100 Cambridge St. Suite 1310 Boston, MA. 02114.
