EBSC Pizza and comedy fundraiser

It’s time to shake off the winter blues, come out of hibernation, and enjoy a snow-free night of food and laughter with friends and family for a great cause!  The Social Center is planning the Annual Spring Fundraiser, a Pizza and Comedy night at Prince Restaurant in Saugus, to be held on the evening of Thursday April 9th, 2015. We hope you can join us for this fun night.

Tickets are only $30 per person and include unlimited cheese pizza and soda (there are also other menu items available for purchase and a cash bar).  All this and a comedy show featuring at least 3 great stand-up comedians (we never know how many might stop by…).

There will be a raffle with a chance to win Red Sox Tickets, a 2 night stay at a Cape Cod hotel, as well as other great prizes, baskets and Gift Certificates from our generous supporters – local & not-so-local businesses, Board members, staff, and individuals.  You need not be present to win so come by the Social Centers and buy your chances!

All of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Social Centers’ programs that serve more than 3,000 children, families and senior citizens each year. The Social Centers has been a part of the East Boston community since 1918 and currently provides fully licensed and accredited childcare for children ages two months through fourteen years, free after-school programming for at-risk teens, summer programming, nutritional, social and recreational programming for the elderly, and community space for numerous advocacy, self-help and community groups.   Our fundraiser and raffle will help to raise much-needed funds that will allow us to continue our work.  For more information, please contact Marisa at (617) 650-3442 (cell), 617-569-3221 x 19 (office) or [email protected].

Evening prayer service scheduled

Evening Prayer Friday, 6:30 pm. Please join us for this quiet, candle light worship.
