Irene DeMarco

Of East Boston

 Irene M. (Amoroso) DeMarcoof East Boston died on November 16.

She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene F. DeMarco; devoted mother of Eugene and his wife, Melissa of New Hampshire, Kenneth, Ronald and Steven DeMarco, all of East Boston; dear sister of Paul Amoroso of Revere, Lorraine Murphy of New Hampshire and the late Anna Smith and Robert Amoroso; cherished grandmother of Maddie,Toby and Bella and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Irene’s life by gathering on Thursday, November 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston and again on Friday morning at 8:45 a.m. before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, Brooks Street, for a Funeral Mass celebrating Irene’s life at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with Irene being laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery. Rita Ferro

Rita Ferro of Orient Heights East Boston passed away November 15.

 The cherished daughter of the late John and Carmella (Vassallo) Ferro, she was the dear sister of Vincent “Jim” Ferro of East Boston, Salvatore Ferro of Florida and the late Carmella and Frances Sala, Nancy, Anna, Anthony, Mario and John Ferro and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Rita’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere today, Wednesday, November 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lynn. Of East Boston, formerly of Italy

Geraldine (Belmonte) Belmonte of East Boston, formerly of Avellino, Italy, died on November 15.

She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Marino Belmonte; loving mother of Maria and her husband, Walter Malone of East Boston, Giulia and her husband, Salvatore Bellofatto of Salem and Marina and her husband, Michael Lacorazza of Melrose and sister of the late Margerita Grieco. Her Funeral will be held from the Magrath Funeral Home, 325 Chelsea St. [at Day Sq] East Boston on Thursday morning, November 20 at 9 followed by a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston at 10 o’clock. Michael J. DiGirolamo of Danvers, formerly of East Boston, died on November 12.

He was the beloved husband of Lois (Lockwood) DiGirolamo; devoted father of Barbara Marie of Danvers and Gina Lois of Peabody; dear brother of Barbara DiGirolamo of East Boston, Carol DeSisto and Anthony “DJ” DiGirolamo, both of Danvers, Robert DiGirolamo of Florida and Claudia Guigliano of East Boston; cherished Papa of Aaliyah Luciani and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
