Aleesha DiPierro
Of Malden, formerly of Revere
Aleesha M. DiPierro of Malden, formerly of Revere, died on March 8. She was 28 years old.
She was the devoted mother of Jaydalena Ramos, Jayanna Faith Leone and Kayden DiPierro; loving daughter of Sherry Murray of Revere and Girolamo “Jerry” DiPierro of Winthrop; beloved granddaughter of Annmarie and William Kulda of Revere and Sabino and Garciela DiPierro of Winthrop; dear sister of Leonard and Shayne Cambria, both of Revere and is also survived by many cherished aunts and uncles.
Family and friends will honor Aleesha’s life by gathering on Thursday, March 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston and again at 8:30 Friday morning before leaving in procession to the Sacred Heart Church Brooks Street for a Funeral Mass in celebration of Aleesha’ life at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with Aleesha being laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery. Deborah J. (Zeoli) Jackson of Andover, formerly of East Boston and Burlington, died on March 5.
The President and COO of East Boston Savings Bank and the former CFO of Hingham Institution for Savings, she was the beloved wife of William Jackson; loving mother of Christine Polcari MD and her husband, Charles “CJ” Polcari MD of Norwell; devoted daughter of Amelia (DelTergo) of East Boston and the late Joseph Zeoli; Nonnie to Ella and Jackson; sister of David Zeoli and his wife, Rizu of Providence, RI and she is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Deb’s Funeral Mass was celebrated in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, East Boston on Monday morning, March 10 followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Patricia J. (Vaters) Guarino of Swampscott, formerly of East Boston, died on March 8.
She was the beloved wife of over 46 years of Joseph, Sr.; devoted mother of Joseph, Jr. and his wife, Jill of Saratoga, NY; cherished grandmother of Collin and Briana Guarino. John DiBattista
Former Machinist for Mead Packing, volunteer and active member at St. Anthony’s Church
Of Revere, formerly of East Boston
John DiBattista of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on March 4.
Born in East Boston, the son of the late Giuseppe and Michelina (Viscione), he married and moved to Revere in 1950. He was a former machinist for Mead Packing Company in Lawrence, John was an active member of St Anthony s Church, volunteering for bingo as well as St. Anthony s Band.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marie G. (Cecere); devoted father of John R. DiBattista of Revere and Doreen M. Pambianchi and her husband, Jimmy of Saugus; dear brother of Fannie Salvaggio of Southborough, Julia Piazza of Bolton and the late Helen Fabello, Mae Casaletto, Frank DiBattista and Liberato DiBattista. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren John Pambianchi and his wife, Karen of Merrimac and Jamie Murphy and her husband, Scott of Wakefield.
Funeral arrangements were by the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, Revere. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Carole Newhook
Longtime Bookkeeper for Liberty Market
Carole A. Newhook of Bowdoin Street, Winthrop passed away at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere on March 6 after a brief illness. She was 73 years old.
Born in Winthrop, the beloved daughter of the late William “Buck” and Florence Thorne. A lifelong resident of Winthrop, she was employed for many years as a bookkeeper for Liberty Market.
She was the devoted wife of the late Robert J. Newhook and the loving mother of Robert Newhook and his wife, Leslie of Winthrop, Thomas Newhook and his wife Marie of Saugus and William Newhook and his wife, Marie of East Boston; the dear sister of Margie Libby of Ohio, Patricia Burrill of Florida and the late Marylou Raymond, Florence Gaudet, William Thorne and Barbara Thorne. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 15 from the St. John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 10 a.m. Committal will be private.
