Catherine Barrett

East Boston resident

Catherine M. (Fisher) Barrett of East Boston died in Arizona on December 7.

She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Barrett; mother of Kathleen M. Goulet of Arizona and the late William G. Barrett;  sister of Margaret Heffron of Somerville and the late Francis, William, Charles, Christopher and Peter Fisher; grandmother of Nicole Brauer and Yvette Goulet and “Gigi” to Colby William and Kaylee Rose. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Theresa Famolare

Of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston

Theresa A. (Lagorio) Famolare of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, died on December 9.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Famolare; devoted mother of John and his wife,  Trisha of Portsmouth, N.H, Marguerite Famolare of East Boston and Joseph and his wife, Cynthia of Middleton; dear sister of her late twin, Andrew Lagorio and is also survived by 11 cherished grandchildren, two adored great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews/

Her funeral will be held from the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston on Saturday December 17 at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of her life in St Joseph St Lazarus Church, Ashley Street. East Boston at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Joe, in Winthrop Cemetery. John Drohan Jr.

Of Melrose, formerly of East Boston

John T. “Jack” Drohan, Jr.  of Melrose formerly of East Boston, died suddenly on December 5. He was 64 years old.

A US Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he was the beloved husband of 36 years to Maryann (Caggiano) Drohan; devoted father of Michelle Drohan of Melrose; loving brother of Theresa Rusnack and Kathleen Norwood, both of Brockton, Marilyn Drohan of Winthrop, Denise Gemma of Revere, Mary Trafton of Maine, Kevin Drohan of Revere and Arlene Savage of So. Weymouth; brother-in-law of Emily Burstein of Billerica and Anthony Caggiano of Florida and the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews and the late Christopher Norwood.

George Edward Brulport

Of Texas, formerly of East Boston

George Edward Brulport of Houston, Texas, formerly of East Boston, died of cancer on December 8. He was 54 years old.

The son of the late Harry and Mary Brulport, he was born and raised in East Boston and lived in Houston for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing and cheering for Boston sports teams.

His family includes his life partner, Johnny Palamorez; two sisters,   Lorraine Stack of Burlington and Margaret Brulport of Stoneham; two brothers, Michael Brulport of East Boston and Mark Brulport of Acushnet and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the   late Kathleen Krabey Brulport and Susan Brulport.

At his request, there were no services.  Donations in his

Thomas Quigley Sr.

East Boston resident

Thomas Quigley, Sr. of East Boston died suddenly on December 5.

He was the devoted father of Thomas Jr. of Chelsea and Steven of Brookline; dear brother of Marie DeFeo and her husband, Bruno of Revere, Joseph and his wife Linda of Florida, John and his wife, Joanne of Revere and the late William and Louise Dickson; beloved companion of the late Helen Martorana and is also survived by two loving grandchildren, Thomas III and Allyssa, his former wife, Donna (Thompson) and many nieces and nephews.

Antonio Reppucci

Of Saugus, formerly of East Boston

Antonio W. Reppucci, a long time resident of Saugus, formerly of East Boston, died unexpectedly on December 6 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after being stricken at home. He was 84 years old.

Born and raised in East Boston and a 1945 graduate of East Boston High School, he served with the US Army from March of 1946 through March of 1947 and was discharged as a Private First Class. He retired from the Watertown Arsenal in 1982 where he served as a lead mechanic and machinist for more than 33 years.

He leaves his beloved wife of 59 years Clara (Perrotta) and was the devoted father of Claire Ruggiero and her husband, Dr. Nicholas Ruggiero, DDS of Antioch, IL, Anthony Reppucci and his wife, Lisa of Gloucester and John Reppucci and his wife, Donna M. of Saugus; cherished grandfather of Nicholas J. Ruggiero and his wife, Ann and Christopher A. Ruggiero and his wife, Tamara, all of Silver Lake, Wisconsin, Ashley N. Ruggiero of Antioch, IL, Alisha N. and Nicole K. Reppucci, both of Gloucester, John V. and Gina M. Reppucci, both of Saugus; dear brother of Nicholas Repucci and his wife, Dorothy of Hyde Park, Sally Ascolillo of East Boston, Patricia Picardi of Peabody, Carol Repucci of East Boston and the late Mary Mastrangelo, Rita Caizzo and Robert Repucci. He is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Worked for Eastern Airlines

Stephen F. Lunetta of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on December 8.

An Eastern Airlines employee, he was the beloved husband of Angela (Scalici) Lunetta with whom he shared 41 years of marriage; loving father of Stacey Lunetta of Boston and Stephen A. Lunetta of Revere; dear brother of Carmela Karpenko and Marcia Rossi, both of East Boston, Rachel DiSalvo, Joseph Lunetta and Dennis Lunetta, all of Revere.

Everett resident

Janice M. (Milano) Marsinelli of Everett died on November 30.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph B. Marsinelli; loving mother of Terri Soroka and Jodi Bradbury and her husband, George of Salem; loving daughter of Josephine A. Milano and the late Philip; beloved sister of Philip “Sonny” Milano and the late Anthony Ventresco. She is also survived by two loving grandchildren, Joseph Marsinelli and Talia Lassiter and a cousin Donna Saccardo.
