As we go to press this week, the Jets will open the season with a girls basketball game vs Muniz Academy on Tuesday, December 17 at the home court; the boys will begin the season with a home game on Wednesday, December 18 against Norwell. Headcoach for the boys is Tryone Figueroa. A 2008 graduate of East Boston High School, Mr. Figueroa was a star athlete on the basketball and football team and currently teaches math at the school. The boys had a nice season last year ending at 16-7. The season ended in round two of the tournament with a three point loss to Norwell by a score of 49-46. The girls are led by Jason Harris and certainly hope to improve on last years’ record of 1-16. The boys hockey team is lead by Coach Patrick McGoff and will open the season on Wednesday, December 18 taking on Blue Hills Regional.
