Anna DiNunzio
Of East Boston, formerly of the North End
Anna (Frongillo) DiNunzio of East Boston, formerly of the North End, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the age of 87.
Anna was the loving wife of the late Louis DiNunzio; daughter of the late Virginia (DeVico) Frongillo, who she lost at a very young age, and the late Emilio and Louise (Todesco) Frongillo; beloved mother of Carmen, Anthony, Lois and Sylvia DiNunzio, all of East Boston; loving sister of the late Emilio “Brother” Frongillo of Revere, Constance Mason and her late husband, Richard of East Boston, the late Sylvia and Pat Candelino of Somerville, and Louis Frongillo of Revere; cherished grandmother of Gia DiNunzio of East Boston, Louis DiNunzio and his wife of Stoneham and Nina DiNunzio and her husband of Bedford. Anna is also survived by four great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends honored Anna’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, East Boston, on Tuesday, August 19th and again today, Wednesday morning, August 20 at 8 a.m. before leaving in procession to Saint Leonard’s Parish in the North End of Boston for a funeral mass at 10 a,m. Services will conclude with Anna being laid to rest with her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. May they rest in peace.
