MFCF Non-profit Organization to Host Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner and Eastie’s Elves

Special to the Times-Free Press

The Madaro Family Community Fund (MFCF) announces the details of its two annual holiday events aimed at supporting families in the East Boston, Winthrop, and Revere communities. For many years, the organization has supplied hundreds of meals and donated thousands of toys through the Thanksgiving Day Dinner and Eastie’s Elves events. The Madaro Family Community Fund hopes to spread holiday cheer and give back to those in need within the community.

The Thanksgiving Day Dinner will serve nearly a thousand meals available for sit-down, carry-out, and delivery at the Salesian Boys & Girls Club. MFCF is continuing its community-wide toy drive in honor of the 21st annual Eastie’s Elves. Collection boxes will be placed throughout East Boston, Revere, and Winthrop from November 27th to December 12th. The toy drive will culminate in an Eastie’s Elves celebration at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor on December 13th, where all community members are invited to join. Admission to the celebration is one new, unwrapped children’s toy.

Ariel Madaro, Director of the Madaro Family Community Fund, expresses gratitude to the many businesses, volunteers, organizations, and supporters who make these events possible. “We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who assist us in providing Thanksgiving dinners and holiday gifts to families in our community. We are thrilled to continue expanding these events each year, and deeply appreciate the chance to celebrate the holidays alongside our neighbors and friends.”
