Winthrop Market celebrated its 25th anniversary on June 6 with local and state officials, who expressed their wishes for continued success and good fortune. Senator Lydia Edwards congratulated the Winthrop Market for their 25 years of contributions to the town by presenting a citation. Representative Jeff Turco also presented the Winthrop Market with a certificate of recognition for 25 years of being in business.
“I cannot thank the community enough for supporting us,” said Marc Wallerce, owner. “I want to thank our employees. They’ve been here 26-27 years helping us build it. These accolades that Chris [Wallerce] and I are getting is wonderful; but we wouldn’t be here without our employees.”
