A Funeral Mass in Celebration of his life will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, Brooks Street, East Boston on Friday, March 9 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston prior to the Mass starting at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are repectfully invited. Anthony Patti of Gloucester, formerly of East Boston, died on March 2. He was in his 93rd year.
A member of Local 221 Laborers Union, he was the beloved husband of the late Casamina (Castelli) Patti with whom he shared 50 years of marriage; loving father of Joseph Patti and his wife, Maria of Salem, George Patti and his wife, Grace of Kentucky, Paul Patti of Florida and Eleanor Patti of Gloucester; dear brother of Rosario and Josephine Patti of Italy; cherished grandfather of five and great grandfather of three.

Adeline “Adele” T. (Simonelli) DiStefano of Saugus, formerly of East Boston, died on March 1.
She was the beloved wife of Gerard A. DiStefano; loving mother of Therese M. DiStefano, Gerard A. DiStefano II and Peter J. DiStefano, all of Saugus; devoted daughter of Carmela “Millie” (Marcotullio) Simonelli of Braintree and the late Americo Simonelli; dear sister of Janet DeMaggio of Randolph and Tina Simonelli of Braintree; sister in law of Joseph DeMaggio and Richard DiStefano; aunt of Matthew DeMaggio, Richard and Angelo DiStefano.
Her funeral will be held from the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave, Saugus today, Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

George M. Armitstead of Golden Drive, Winthrop, a lifelong Winthrop resident, died on March 4 after a long illness. He was 65 years old.
Born in Winthrop, he was the beloved son of the late Edith (Vass) and Stanley Armitstead. he was employed as an auto technician for many years prior to his retirement. He was also a member of the Corvette Club and the NSRA.
He was the loving father of Craig Armitstead and his wife, Rose, Brian Armitstead and his wife, Tara, Aaron Armitstead and his wife, Dawne and Derek Armitstead and his wife, Jessica all of Winthrop. He was the dear brother of Elizabeth Doyle of Lynn, Bruce Armitstead of Lowell and Barbara Sharib of Lynn and the cherished grandfather of Brianna, Daniel, Brian Jr., Grace, Sofia, Lauren, Aaron, Lily and Elle. He was the former husband of Marie (Chiaradonna) Cheffro.
Visitation will be held from the Ernest P. Caggiano and Son-O’Maley Funeral Home, 147 Winthrop St., Winthrop on Sunday, March 11 from 3 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m.that evening. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the funeral home.
