East Boston High School Graduates the Class of 2026

The 146th commencement took place at Sartori Stadium on Friday morning, June 12.  The graduates, boys in blue and girls in yellow lined up adjacent to the stadium and filed in to take their seats on the aluminum bleachers facing a staging area set up for the happy occasion.  Welcoming all and serving as Master of Ceremonies was EB High graduate Dave Arinella.  This year, a newly formed East Boston High School band performed the National Anthem which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and the transfer of the School Colors.

Guests on the platform included Dr. Tommy Welch, Region 1 Superintendent, State Rep. Adrian Madaro, State Senator Lydia Edwards, District 1 City Councilor Gabriela Coletta Zapata, and retired headmaster Michael Rubin.

Addressing their fellow graduates was Salutatorian Man Minh Le (GPA 4.57) and Valedictorian Arielle Alexix Tritto (GPA 4.66).  She plans to attend BU on a full scholarship.  Among the 243 graduates receiving diplomas was Alexandria Ava Brangiforte, youngest of the five children of Headmaster Philip Brangiforte.

After receiving their diplomas, the graduates were greeted by a line of faculty and staff offering hugs and handshakes.  The Class of 2026 then headed for midfield for a final group photo before tossing their caps into the air.
