East Boston Central Catholic School (EBCCS) held its Eighth Grade Graduation Mass and Exercise on June 6, at Most Holy Redeemer Parish, with main celebrant, Father Tom Domurat, who has known some students from as early as birth and since they entered EBCCS as angels. The pastor compared the joyfulness of graduations to Chinese food: sweet in the accomplishment, and sour in that students are leaving and moving on to new schools. Father Tom reminded graduates to keep the faith, and trust in the Lord along their new journeys.
“We have prepared you the best we possibly could with an education formed through faith, sustained by family, and enriched by wisdom,” concluded Principal Robert Casaletto. “I pray that because of that education you are inspired to achieve and empowered to serve.”
