Happy 100th Birthday Antionetta “ANN” D’Alessandro

A lifelong resident of East Boston recently celebrated her 100th birthday on October 15.

She celebrated with many family members and friends.

She is the wife of the late John D’Alessandro whom she met at the ripe age of 15.

They were lovingly married until his untimely death in 1987.

Ann is the mother of the late Joanne Raia and Diane LaVertue.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie DeAngelis (DeAngelis Bakery), and daughter-in-law of Antonio and Carmella D’Alessandro, Mary Burke and Elaine Kelley.

She has much love for the DeAngelis family as well as the D’Alessandro family who she cherishes. A wonderful, kind, and caring woman, She does have her faults that we have to contend with. The one being her love for the New York Yankees as well as her love of Frank Sinatra.

Ann has enjoyed so many activities and friends at the East Boston Senior Center. Her favorite being the summer camp day trips. She is well know for her love of music and dancing.

We wish her continued, love, health and happiness.
