Harbor View Neighborhood Association Meets on Dec. 1

The next meeting of the Harbor View Neighborhood Association will be on December 1, 2025, at 6pm. The meeting is In Person only but will be streamed via Facebook for archival purposes. Attendance on Facebook does not qualify for voting. The meeting will be held in the Salesian Boys and Girls Club cafeteria, across from the Brooke Charter School on Byron Street. You can access the meeting from the front door on Byron Street which is also handicap accessible and an elevator is available for your convenience if needed. which is the handicap entry, to avoid the stairs.

Office of Police Accountability and Transparency (OPAT) (10min) Corey Jordan, Community Engagement Specialist will share information about this office that has been in existence since 2020. Q&A.

Boston Water and Sewer Commission (25min) The BWSC Team, James Fareta, Emma Page, Lisa Rampino and Che Goncalves, will present” The No Cost Private Lead Replacement Incentive Program” as well as reviewing the senior discount program and parts of the bill. There are several homes in Harbor View, East Boston and throughout the city that still have lead pipes that may be unsafe. Learn about the risks of lead in your pipes. GET THE LEAD OUT!

McLean Park Update (5min) Barbara Puopolo, chair of this subcommittee, will present on the status of 2026 CPA funding for the Perimeter Site Wall Rehabilitation Project and the contract going out for bids for the renovation and upgrade of the park.

HVNA will have our annual Holiday/ Christmas Party on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the East Boston Yacht Club, 6pm-9pm. Delicious food from Stevie Scire at Carlo’s and John Hios at Royal Roast Beef. Entertainment will be DJ Bingo. Raffles, baskets, prizes and lots of fun. Donations accepted!
