The East Boston Chamber of Commerce held their 2019 “Deck the Windows” holiday window decorating contest the weekend of Dec. 13, 14, and 15. Businesses participated by decorating their storefront windows with decorations of the season, by calling the Chamber and having a Chamber Board member take the photos, or by having their decorations photographed by a Chamber Board member, or directly submitting pictures of their decorations.
From the many contest entries, three winners were chosen (first, second, and third place) to be the best decorated windows by an East Boston business in 2019. Certificates were awarded to the three winners along with a congratulatory letter from the East Boston Chamber of Commerce thanking each winner for their decorating and for demonstrating the spirit of the holidays in our community.
Congratulations to: First Prize winner – La Chiva Restaurant on Bennington St. Second Prize winner – Italian Express Pizzeria decorations at “Ianuzzi’s square” on Bennington St. Third Prize winner – Jeveli’s Italian Restaurant on Chelsea St.
