James ‘Jimmy’ Todisco

Of East Boston

James “Jimmy” Todisco of East Boston died on July 27 at the age of 40.

He was the cherished son of Rita (Cogswell) Todisco  and the late William of East Boston; dear brother of Billy Todisco of Chelsea, Stevie Todisco of Winthrop, Bobby Todisco of Revere, John Todisco  of East Boston, Rita Elliott and her husband, Robert of East Boston, Rhonda Lauletta and her husband, Michael of Revere, Scotty Todisco of East Boston, Robin Cinelli and her husband, Tommy of East Boston, Denise Warwick and her husband, Mike of Swampscott, Joey Todisco  of Brighton and the late Kenny Todisco. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St., East Boston.

Helen Allison

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston

Helen V. Allison of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died unexpectedly on July 27.

She was the dear sister of Ruth Barber Jackman of Winthrop, Catherine “Kiten” Braswell of East Boston, Martha Petrosius of Quincy and the late Robert Allison Jr. and John Allison. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Annette Papa

Of Boston’s North End

Annette F. (Sutera) Papa of Boston’s North End passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 31.

She was the wife of the late Bartolomeo Papa, devoted mother of Patricia “Patte” and her companion, Vincent Federico and Joyce Papa and her companion, John Visconti, all of Boston, cherished and loving grandmother of Justin and Jordyn Amoroso and dear sister of Lucy Graffeo of Somerville, Marie Tarantino of Winthrop, Mario Sutera of Boston, Salvatore Sutera of North Reading, Carl Sutera of Boston, and the late Beatrice Catanzaro, Josephine Catanzaro, Catherine Cadigan, Vincent Sutera, Leo Sutera, and Fred Sutera.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Mrs. Papa by gathering in the Sacred Heart Church, Lower Church, (North Square) North End of Boston, on Thursday, August 4 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass in the Upper Church at 11 a.m. Services will conclude with Mrs. Papa being laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery. In honoring Mrs. Papa, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P. O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
