Mario Vincent Martino

Of East Boston

Mario Vincent Martino of East Boston passed away on March 23. He was 96 years old.

The cherished son of the late Domenico and Raffiella (Caruso) Martino, he was the beloved husband of Rosemarie (Figliolino) Martino of East Boston; loving father of Elaine Martino and Doreen Andrews and her husband, Stephen, all of East Boston; adored grandfather of GinaMarie, Melissa and Vincent Andrews and great-grandfather of Aurora Simpson, all of East Boston and caring brother of the late Alberico, Esterino, Angelo, Maria and Olga. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service was held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden on  March 26.

Grace Rinaldi

Of East Boston

Grace ( Marino) Rinaldi of East Boston passed away March 26.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic S. Rinaldi; devoted mother of Rita Bermingham and her husband, Daniel of Barnstable, John Rinaldi and his wife, Janice of Wakefield, Rose D’Angelo and her husband, Joseph of Roanoke,, VA, Mary Battersby and her husband, Joseph of Peabody, and Salvatore Rinaldi and his wife, Nancy of East Boston. Dear sister of Concetta Hines, of Braintree, Angela Capps of Billerica, and Ann Gullifa of Revere; cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.

Family and friends will honor Grace’s life by gathering at Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street Revere today, Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m.before leaving in procession to the Sacred Heart Church, East Boston for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her name at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St Michael Cemetery, Boston. Richard Collins

Of East Boston

Richard L Collins of East Boston died peacefully on March 17.

The devoted father of Christine Cinelli and her husband, John of East Boston and Marianne Wright of Revere, he was the dear brother of Elizabeth Maher, Barbara MCKinnon, Virginia Fyler, David Collins Jr., Dorothea Collins, Walter Collins, Judith Monterio, Susan Frongillo and the late Stephen Collins; adored grandfather of five grandchildren and three loving great grandchildren as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

Thomas I. Marquez of East Boston, formerly of Puerto Rico , passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family by his bedside at home on Easter Sunday March 27.

He was the beloved husband of Edilma (Alzate)Marquez; loving son of the late Ismael Ortizand and Dorotea Marquez and devoted brother of Carmen, Nelson, Ivan and Martin Moralez, Sr.

Family and friends will honor Thomas’s life by gathering on Thursday, March 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Friday morning April 1 at the Most Holy Redeemer Church, Maverick Street (Maverick Sq) East Boston at 10 a.m. for a Funeral Mass in celebration of Thomas ‘s life. Lorraine ‘Lorry’ Raimondi

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston

Lorraine “Lorry”(Waddingham) Raimondi of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away peacefully on March 21,in her 83rd year.

Lorraine worked at the House of Kobrin, Reliable Fabrics of Everett for many years. She enjoyed cooking, decorating and playing cards.

She was the loving daughter of the late Sadie and Arthur Waddingham, devoted sister of Alberta Waddigham of Revere, beloved mother of Linda Forte and husband, Joe of Uxbridge, Richard Raimondi and wife, Terese of East Boston; cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Dominic Forte and Victoria Raimondi and the former wife of Richard Raimondi.

Special thanks are extended to the staff of Leonard Florence Center for Living in Chelsea.

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston

Anna (Porrazzo) Guerra of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away March 23.  She was 83 years old.

The longtime companion of Joseph Pagliuca of Billerica, she was the loving mother of Stephen Guerra and his wife, Donna of South Carolina, James Guerra and his wife, Grace of Peabody, Catherine Kahatatba of Revere, Linda Belschner and her husband, John of Revere and Maria Cummings of New Hampshire, and her late husband, Richard; sister of David Porrazzo, Joseph Porrazzo and Frank Porrazzo, all of California, John and Louis Porrazzo of Revere and the late Vincent James Porrazzo; cherished grandmother of Stephen and his wife, Jennifer, Krista, Joseph, Jennifer, Joanna, Mishelle, Mark, Danielle and her husband, Eric, Tanya, Stephanie, Andrea, Samantha and her husband, Sean, Richard and Joshua; great grandmother of Morgan, Lily, Mark, Logan, Mia, Emma, Ariana, and Jared and mother in law of Gregory Smith, Richard Jean and Anthony Morico. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Died tragically

Luigi Epifania of East Boston died tragically on March 22.

He was the loving son of the late Feliciano and Maria (Cautiero) Epifania; devoted father of Isabella Maria Epifania,; dear beloved brother of Francesco Epifania and his wife, Tatiana of East Boston, Kenneth McCracken of Brockton, Maria McCracken and her husband, Paul of Winthrop; cherished fiance of Jonelle M Sempiana of East Boston, andadored uncle of Alessandro Epifania and Felicia Figueroa, both of East Boston.

Family and friends will honor Luigi’s life by gathering in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St., (Orient Heights) East Boston today, Wednesday morning at 8;30 before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church East Boston for a Funeral Mass in celebration of his life at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with Luigi being laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Former employee of Hasbro Toys

Daniele (Albano) Antonia of Lynn, formerly of Saugus and Italy, passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on March 24.

Antonia was born in Italy on July 25, 1936 to the late Luigi and Filomena (Garzillo)Albano and after coming to America she worked for Hasbro Toys. She was the beloved wife of the late Aristide Daniele; devoted mother of Giovanna Albano, Leone Daniele, Rocco Daniele, Eleanora Daniele and Geardina Calabrese; cherished grandmother of Adele Martino, Antonella Martino, Rocco Daniele, Leontino Daniele, Briana Calabrese, Vincenzo Calabrese and Anthony Calabrese.

Family and friends will honor Antonia’s life by gathering today, Wednesday, March 31 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Ruggiero family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston. Funeral services and entombment will continue in Salerno, Italy where Antonia will be laid to rest with her

beloved husband, Aristide. May they both rest in peace.
