Gay Pride Week

On Monday evening at Piers Park, East Boston’s elected officials joined the neighborhood’s Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Gay and Transgender community to raise the LBGT Flag at Piers Park on Marginal Street. The ceremonial flag raising was in conjunction with Massport and the City of Boston and helped kicked off Boston Gay Pride week in the city. This year Gay Pride week in Boston will celebrate its 45th anniversary with events and parties all over the city culminating in the annual Gay Pride Parade from Copley Square to City Hall Plaza Saturday.
