Richard Fox 

East Boston Resident

Richard “Rick” R. Fox of East Boston died on December 16.

He was the beloved husband of Beatrice (Cambria) Fox; loving father of Cheryl Demodena and her husband, Ken of Saugus, and Richard “Ricky” Fox and his wife, Gina of Wakefield; cherished grandfather of Erica and Adam Demodena-Baker, Kenneth and Samantha Demodena, Michael and Deana Demodena, Jeffrey Demodena and his loving girlfriend, Jacqueline Lo Giudice, John Fox and Maryelizabeth Fox; great-grandfather of Alanna Demodena-Baker and Mya Demodena; dear brother of Floyd Fox of Pennsylvania, Bonnie Russell of Pennsylvania, June Grant of Ohio and the late Chester, Catherine, Joseph and James. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held from the Kirby-Rapino Memorial Home, 917 Bennington St., (Orient Heights), East Boston today, Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, corner of Brooks and Paris Streets, East Boston, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Catherine Pulicari 

East Boston resident

Catherine “Katie” (Spaziani) Pulicari of East Boston died on December 16.

She was the beloved wife of the late Rino; devoted mother of Ronald, Sr., Perry and Paul Pulicari; dear sister of Rose, Mafalda “Muffy, Salvatore “Sonny” and Joseph as well five late sisters. She was the cherished grandmother of Ronald Jr., Terez, Paul Jr., Michael, Peter and Jack and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Josephine Rizzo 

Member of Daughters of Italy in America

Josephine L. (DeAngelis) Rizzo of Orient Heights, East Boston died on December 10. She was in her 97th year.

She was a proud member of the Daughters of Italy in America Lodge 1601.

She was the beloved wife of the late Armando “Lundy”; loving mother of Melinda Cecere and her husband, Anthony “Tony” of East Boston and Joyce Collins and her companion, Richard Brown of Maine; dear sister of Melindo Veteri of Florida and the late Ernest, Alfred, Edward, Salvatore, Pasquale and Armando “Shiner” DeAngelis, Vera Capano, Adeline D’Amore, Amelia “Mitzi” Calo and Rita DeMarco. She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tribute Program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis , TN 38105-1942. June Violet 

Owned June’s Video Hut

June M. (Capezzuto) Violet of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on December 19.

The late proprietor of June’s Video Hut, she was also a member of the Revere Rotary Club.

She was the beloved wife of George; devoted mother of Pamela Howell and her husband, Terry of Exeter NH, Belinda Majerowski and her husband, Peter of New York and Glenn Malley “RPD” and his wife, Christine of Danvers; dear sister of Rita Nestor of Elkins WV; loving daughter of the late Joseph Capezzuto and Elizabeth Beatrice (White) Capezzuto-Campana. She is also survived by eight loving grandchildren.

Her Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home on Thursday, December 22, at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
