Red Sox players visit east Boston

Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) annual Fenway Challenge/ Sox Talk came to Memorial Stadium Field in East Boston Monday.

The winners of the Fenway Challenge, a skill competition in running, hitting, and throwing for boys and girls, ages 6-14, met Sox players and coaches and will be treated to a Red Sox game in September acknowledged on the field before the game.

After the challenge, members of the Red Sox Organization arrived and spoke with the crowd.
