East Boston Sports Day on the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway was an incredible success! A fun-filled day for kids, families, and even adults came out to enjoy the festivities at Bremen Street Park.

A huge highlight of the day was welcoming some of New England’s favorite mascots and entertainers. Boston Red Sox Wally the Green Monster, Boston Bruins Blades the Bear, New England Free Jacks Woodgy, New England Revolution, Slyde the Fox and the always energetic Boston Celtics, Lucky the Leprechaun, and the Celtics Dancers thrilled the crowd alongside the incredibly talented FloorLords Breakdancers.

The energy never stopped thanks to DJ Damien Margardo, who kept everyone dancing and moving to the music at Bremen Street Park. Todd Angilly, the iconic voice of the Boston Bruins, delivered a powerful rendition of the National Anthem. NESN personality Adam Pellerin was on hand and greeted the enthusiastic crowd.
