Salesian Boys & Girls Club to hold its 17th Annual Summer Camp Scholarship Auction/Fundraiser ~ “A Celebration of Education.” on Thursday, June 5, 6 p.m. at Spinelli’s Banquet Hall, 282 Bennington Street, East Boston.
Each year, this special event helps provide children with the opportunity to experience a safe, enriching, and unforgettable summer at camp. With your support, we can continue to open doors for kids who might not otherwise have access to these life-changing experiences.
Join them for an enjoyable evening featuring good friends, delicious food, great live & silent auctions, and awards.
The Auctioneer will be Joseph Ruggiero.

Proceeds from the evening will directly fund summer camp scholarships and programs.

Revere Leaders to Host Re-Election Kick-Off for Senator Lydia Edwards
State Senator Lydia Edwards is set to officially launch her 2026 re-election campaign with a high-profile kick-off event in Revere next week. The fundraiser and rally will be hosted by two of the city’s most prominent political figures, Mayor Patrick Keefe, Jr. and State Representative Jessica Ann Giannino, signaling strong local institutional support for the incumbent.

Senator Edwards, who currently serves as the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, represents the 3rd Suffolk District (including portions of Boston, Revere, and Winthrop). Since taking office in 2022, she has focused heavily on housing affordability, climate resiliency, and transit equity.
Prior to her time in the State Senate, Edwards served on the Boston City Council and worked as a labor attorney. She is currently a member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard as a Judge Advocate General.
